Elderly
Ann Gazulis Rushed to Hospital Last Night After Fall (Modesto,
California)
|
Modesto, California,
22-December-2010 -- Ann Gazulis, age 90, fell
out of her wheelchair last night
and was rushed to a local hospital in the city of Modesto, California,
where she lives. When she fell out of the chair, she suffered
a
hit to her head and left
elbow
and scraped her arm.
The
blow to her head left her with a big, egg-sized bump on her forehead. At the hospital
she said she was having bad chest
pains.
The
hospital emergency staff responded to the chest pains by giving Ann a
Nitroglycerin injection. ''As a
side effect of the Nitroglycerin, sweating may occur'' -- and it was
probably that injection that has caused Ann's legs to start weeping
fluid
badly.
She
needs our prayers for immediate healing and relief from
these debilitating injuries.
Ann Gazulis
was one of the first baptized Church of God (Philadelphia era) members
in the Stockton-Modesto church-area.
This
note from Barry Kendall in Stockton, California:
''Prior
to last night's fall, and for the past several months, Ann has been
going back and forth from the hospital to a nursing home. She
misses being in her own home -- but she cannot return to her home
unless someone is there with her 24-7.''
